Process / Style Development

These paintings have been on my living room wall since October of 2021.  A couple of days ago, I realized that I love pattern and masking off shapes that show the underlying layer. So, I am trying that out on this series.
1. I coat the first layer with GAC 800
2. I apply contact paper shapes as masks
3. I coat the entire surface with a glaze color
4. I remove the masks
