"Bridges I and II"

"Bridges I and II", 12x12", collages on canvas that I am working into with acrylic paint. I disliked these two as collages,  so I covered the entire surface with red paint,  then applied masks in shapes and went over the whole surface again, with dark blue-green. They sat in my studio for a long time, until the other day, when I sanded them,and painted a neutral color between the shapes and collages. It seemed to be too much, so I wiped off the paint, but some of it came off more than other areas, and I got these intriguing shapes in dark grey-ish blue-green. I don't know what comes next; this is an experiment!
