This painting has gone through several transmutations in the past couple of days. It was too orange, so I glazed it with blue and violet, then I scraped blue-green paint over the whole surface, which brought out the textures, and then I masked some of the shapes and glazed it with red-violet. I will have to tone down the magenta with yellow-green. It is a balancing act!
