This 9"x12" painting on paper was done from an isolated section of random scribbling and painting. I am not sure if I will take it up to a 16"x20" canvas or not.

I am unsure about the strong black shapes, so I am setting these two aside and working on other paintings and a new set of postcards.I did this pair of paintings working from 4"x5" thumbnails:
Wild isn't it? This is the primary colors plus red-orange and yellow-orange, black and white.
Here are the four postcards. It is magic! The parts are greater than the whole, by gum!
This is The Color Star, with the particular combination I used in the earlier violet, Orange and Green postcard painting. There are other harmonious combinations, but for whatever reason, these work well for this project.
I did these portraits of Betsy (left) and Robyn (right) a number of years ago, and I really enjoyed doing them. They are acrylic collage on canvas. I am planning to take them off their stretchers and roll them up, so I got them out and wanted to say how I love my sisters and put a lot of thought into their portraits. These very personal paintings don't seem to interest anyone else. I am not sure what I will paint on the new canvases.
